Entries are open for this competition until 15 November 2017.
Each year the Town Mayor sends cards on behalf of the Town to other towns in County Durham and North Yorkshire and to a selection of local businesses and organisations.
- Open to anyone (non-professionals) of any age

‘What I love about Barney’
How to Enter:
Electronic files should be submitted as a Jpeg at least 1600 x 1200 (2MPix). Entries can be submitted electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org or
- In any format capable of being reproduced on white card;
- Orientation – portrait or landscape
The image on the finished cards will be reproduced at A5 size and may be cropped.
Submitted entries will be shortlisted by the Town Mayor and Consort along with the Editor of the Teesdale Mercury. The winning entries will be selected by the Town Mayor and Consort.
The two winning images will be printed; each with the winner’s name on the reverse and will be used as the Town Mayor’s official Christmas card for 2017.
Each winner will be presented by the Town Mayor with a framed entry of their own design at the Town Council’s Christmas Tree Lighting Event on 1 December 2017, along with a pack of 20 cards for their own personal use.
